Dry brushing is such a wonderful way to incorporate self-care at home! Dry brushing feels fantastic and provides the skin with a great form of gentle exfoliation to reveal smoother softer skin. Dry brushing helps to waken up the detox pathways and stimulate the lymphatic system. An increase in blood flow and circulation is another fantastic benefit to dry brushing!

SO how to dry brush?

  • Use your dry brush on dry skin before a hot shower or bath

  • Brush in light sweeping motions always towards the heart

  • Brush each section of your skin about 10 times

  • Start at the feet, brush the bottoms of your feet and up your legs to hips with smooth strokes on the bones and circular strokes on the joints

  • Brush your torso in long strokes toward your heart. On your stomach and armpits, brush in circular clockwise motions

  • Brush very lightly on chest

  • Using long strokes on arms starting with the palms of the hands

  • Make sure to avoid any sensitive areas

  • Once you are done jump into a shower or hot bath

  • After make sure to hydrate the skin with hydrating creams or oils
