How to Set Goals the SMART way
Goal setting! Setting goals with intension, purpose and determination to achieve the results can be tricky. Many times we aim to set a good goal; however we forget to break the larger goal into small little goals to achieve success with our initial plan - especially when we are looking at changing our health for a sustainable and manageable lifestyle. When setting your SMART goals ask yourself these questions:
What do I want to accomplish?
Who do we want to be?
What do we want to experience?
What do we want to aquire?
SMART GOALS:
Specific
Measurable
Attainable
Relevant
Time-Bound
During your journey spend your time wisely! Find accountability, and celebrate your small wins along the way. Be aware of your potential roadblocks and challenges, and be patient with the process.
